The 10 Founding Priniciples

America doesn't need another political party telling The People what to believe. It needs Americans willing to stand together for what matters.

For too long, our nation has been divided by political labels, party loyalty, and endless arguments that distract from the issues affecting everyday Americans. While Republicans and Democrats fight for political control, ordinary citizens are left wondering who is actually fighting for them.

That's where The American Party (TAP) comes in.

Inspired by The People's Manifesto, TAP isn't designed to become another traditional political party. It's a community built around shared American values, independent thinking, and the belief that government must answer to The People.

At its foundation are ten principles that define what our movement stands for.

The 10 Founding Principles of The American Party

1. Government Must Answer to The People

Government was established to represent and protect its citizens, not rule over them. Every elected official works for The People, and their authority comes from those they serve.

2. The Constitution Is the Foundation

The Constitution establishes the framework for our government and protects our fundamental freedoms. No elected official, political organization, or government agency should have unlimited power or operate beyond constitutional boundaries.

3. Freedom Comes With Responsibility

Individual liberty and personal responsibility go hand in hand. Protecting freedom means respecting the rights of others, taking ownership of our actions, and contributing to the communities we call home.

4. Equal Justice for Every American

The law must apply equally to everyone, regardless of wealth, influence, political connections, or social status. True justice cannot exist when powerful individuals receive privileges denied to ordinary citizens.

5. Strong Families Create Strong Communities

The strength of America begins with its families and neighborhoods. When families thrive, communities become stronger, children have greater opportunities, and future generations inherit a more stable nation.

6. Keep Government Close to The People

Not every problem requires a solution from Washington. Whenever practical, decisions should remain with local communities and the citizens who understand their needs firsthand.

7. Put Principles Above Political Loyalty

No politician deserves unquestioned support. Americans should judge their leaders by their actions, integrity, and commitment to the Constitution—not the political party they represent.

8. Transparency Is Essential to Accountability

The People deserve an honest and transparent government. Public officials must explain their decisions, answer difficult questions, and accept responsibility when they fail those they were elected to serve.

9. Active Citizens Protect Our Republic

Freedom requires participation. Voting is important, but so are staying informed, challenging questionable decisions, engaging in community discussions, and holding public officials accountable.

10. Our Common Ground Is Greater Than Our Differences

Americans may disagree on political issues, but most share similar hopes: safe communities, economic opportunity, personal freedom, and a better future for their children. Those common interests are stronger than the divisions politicians encourage.

This Is Bigger Than Politics

The American Party isn't asking anyone to abandon their beliefs or surrender their independence. It's asking Americans to recognize something our political system too often encourages us to forget:

We have more in common with our neighbors than we do with the political elites claiming to represent us.

These ten founding principles provide a foundation for bringing The People together without demanding blind loyalty, political conformity, or agreement on every issue.

Real change begins when citizens stop defending political teams and start defending the principles that protect us all.

The future of America doesn't belong to Republicans, Democrats, or career politicians.

It belongs to The People.

Join The American Party community and become part of a growing movement dedicated to unity, constitutional freedom, personal responsibility, and government accountability.

UNITED WE STAND.
